This feels a little deja vu…

didn’t I tempt fate last year at this time too?

Even tho my average last frost date here is around May 20...

My confidence {or gamble if you wanna call it that} has to do with weather.com’s 10-day forecast…

and the fact that my kale has bolted already!

Dang!

Makes sense…right? RIGHT?

OK then.

 The cuke seedlings were coming up fast...

and so I thought what the heck…they’re going in the ground!

What’s the worst that can happen?

If it gets below freezing at night I’ll just cover ‘em up for the next two weeks or so.

 I even planted the 4 x 8 box on the right with bush and pole beans.

I'll put stakes in soon...just got too busy that day.

So I had a bit of optimistic fun over the warm weekend...

and I cut more asparagus!

So far so good, right?!?

{I’ll admit to keeping my fingers crossed}
