Ummm…yes, I’ve got it bad.
Blogger’s Block, that is.
I do believe that the remedy will be none other than sun & temperatures over 50.
I’ll take that.

This is one weird winter up here in the Idaho Panhandle.
We have green grass already. Where’s the snow?!?
You would think it’s May.

But yet it’s still cold enough, especially at night, to have completely killed off my hairy vetch that was planted as an overwintering crop.

I thought the chives had died…but there are a few new shoots pushing through!

The hop vines are awaiting new growth.

Can’t wait for the lavender to get colorful.

A few strawberries are growing again!

My Meyer lemon tree has not been happy at all in the greenhouse…especially since it’s still not properly finished!
I think she’ll survive though.

Lemon balm and spearmint have been hanging on.

All we can do is wait for Spring here…yawn…I envy you gardenistas in warmer places!

And oh yeah…
I found this sweet spoon at the Northwest Garden Show in Seattle a few weeks ago…
Its temporary home is inside under grow lights with the aloe vera! Can’t wait to get it outside soon.
How is your garden this winter?
Fellow panhandle res here… I agree it has been odd and I have to almost tie my hands behind my back to NOT buy plants or start trying to re plant in my garden; which btw is no where as nice as yours. I do enjoy your blogs tho & wanted to say HI YA.
