My boys love to travel…..{yeah, I’ll admit to being over 29}…..and last week I was on the receiving end of this photo…..
and this one…..
and this one…..
and this one.
While my view of the world looked like this…..pure torture!
So when my favorite Mr. FedEx {with-the-doggie-treats} Man showed up a few days ago with {surprise!} wall art from Punta Mita I was thrilled. Ay amigo!
How cool are these chopped up Mexican license plates? Colorful, artsy and to the point. Just like me. Hehe. These babies have my name written all over them.
But hey, I gotta say this K sliver is a bit suspect. I cannot find a Mexican state (or US state) that ends with L …..see in bottom left corner…..it’s a keeper tho!
And since we call this God’s Country up here in the Idaho Panhandle…..this one works too! Just pretend you didn’t see that snow pic.
Nailed to plywood and both measuring 6” x 24”…..they so appeal to my word obsession.
And absolutely perfect for my future greenhouse. {Spoiler alert….it’s under construction…..posts coming soon}
Thank you M for these delightful gifts from Mexico…..can’t wait to see where you’ll go next!
BUENAS NOCHES!
UPDATE…..My suspicions were right…..here is a Utah plate…..
hmmmmmmm…..that L looks familiar. And who tracked it down? None other than Super Sleuth Son aka M aka Mexico traveler.
THANK YOU !
Well, I liked your “view of the world.” That’s because I love snow!!! Feel free to send some of it my way!
P.S. That red “L” is actually an upside down 7!!
Why I’d be very happy to send you some snow…..if only I could! And that upside-down creativity is pretty darn smart if you ask me! You’re pretty observant.
I’m trying to find one of those license plate wall arts from mexico that I could have made. Do you have a website or know that store to be able to contact?
Hi Joanne…no I don’t. My son bought them in Punta Mita from a beach vendor…not at a hotel. I think they’re so cool. If I ever see any more I’ll be sure to put a link on my website.
