Hey, friends!
Let’s talk about April showers and some of the stuff that comes with it, shall we?
You know those times when your garden is mucky and wet? I dunno about you but mud and messiness just ain’t my thing when I’m busy in the garden.
I recently ordered these rain/garden boots from Amazon and they so make me smile!
{You may or may not see me doing a happy dance in the garden…}
They’re inexpensive and cute to boot {pun intended}!
They replaced older boots that had started to leak.
Since I often wear garden boots in the summer {only in the garden btw}, I like them mid-height, loose, coolish, flexible and easy to hose off inside and out.
Ain’t got no time for hot sweaty feet!
On a hot summer day I’ll just kick off my flip flops and put on the boots without socks.
There are so many cute boots for the garden…here are just a few!

And when they get old, use them for flowers. See some instructions here.
I’ll be planting flowers in my old boots soon!
Aren’t these too pretty?
or here.
Talk about garden art!
Spring has sprung here…hope it has where you are too!

Definately going to order some new boots, (and will do so by clicking on your link) and start looking for old ones while I’m “thrifting.” for planters. Do you need to poke holes in the bottom for drainage?
Thanks for the cool idea!!!!
Thanks, Pam! Yes, you need a hole or two in the old boots to use as planters. I wasn’t clear with the link above the boots that there are instructions if you click it. I’ve reworded it now so hopefully it won’t be confusing. Cheers to spring, right?!?
