Hi all!
Are you having a hard time like I am with the time change?
Even though it’s a good thing and I’ve been pining.for.it.like.fuhever?
Who would think that just one measly hour would wreak such havoc with hunger and sleep schedules.
But it does…argh.
In a week tho we won’t even remember…right?

Our North Idaho weather has been really wacko lately…snow this morning…hail this afternoon…so I’ve been out shopping.
I’m no dummy. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. HA!

I am not really one for Walmart…my biggest gripe is that it takes me longer to pay than it does to shop the store.
Seriously!
Twenty cash registers and five clerks. Go figure.
Anyway…I popped in last week on my monthly shopping extravaganza {*sarcasm*} for necessities…{no Target within 45 minutes of us…bummer}…
and of course beelined it for the garden area first. It makes my visits there bearable.
I couldn’t refuse these seriously cute pots…in my crazy summer colors no less!
They remind me of classy Crate & Barrel style 👍

So gardenistas…do scramble over to Wally World for some cute garden things. These were about $12 each.
{the broccoli plant next to it is just to show you the pot sizes}
I hope they get yellow or orange pots in too…fingers crossed!
Hmmm…guess I’ll be back there before my next monthly visit…hehe.

And this rug happened to fall in my cart too…unfortunately it snagged when I put it on a shelf in the greenhouse. Or should I say when I pulled it off the shelf for the floor?
Oh well. It was only $10. Maybe I’ll get another one for when this one is totally trashed.
Ya gotta hand it to Wally World for good prices.
{off topic…have you seen Pioneer Woman’s new line there? Cute!}

And you know…Riley the City Dog so likes his rugs 😉
And he likes the warm greenhouse.
So guess it’s a done deal. I’m out another ten bucks.

A local store {North 40 Outfitters} has a garden section too…and I came home with this burlap bag.
IMG_3190.jpg
They also had larger ones that would look cute on a deck…put all three together…totally hip!
I happened to see all of them on Amazon here.
I love them all. Too cute!
Can’t wait to plant about 3 different herbs in mine soon!

My old thermometers were left outside in the rain by mistake…
so I just bought two new ones…the same as before. Love these.
What would I do without you Amazon?…hehe…
IMG_3199.jpg
And…as I was using up valuable minutes of my life in that awful Walmart line…guess what I spied {you know they do this on purpose!…very clever WM!}
This .99 bag. Oh my how cute! Cuter than Trader Joe’s bags if that’s even possible.
Love it! Perfect for the Farmer’s Market this summer.
I think I need another one.
{shhhh…yes I do spend Saturday mornings there…fun! Oh my the jewelry gal has cute bracelets too!}

So as I was writing this post…we had a sun break! For about 60 seconds. Was nice while it lasted.

And now I’ll leave you with an annoying…but beautiful woodpecker…
DSC_7242.JPG
noisily pecking away at a bird house roof the last few days…

Gorgeous isn’t he?
But Woody…go away puhlease!
Hope y’all are having better weather than we are!
Come soon Spring! 🌷
Lovin’ all the garden goodies you have found 🙂 Imay need to head to North 40 🙂
I tend to have too much fun there…:)
Hi Holly….love your posts and wish you would do them more often. It’s especially nice on a sunny/rainy/snowy and then sunny morning. Keep ‘um coming especially those of Riley. He’s too cute.
p.s. I too love the Northern Flicker. They are so unique, because they feed on the ground. I have photos of the ones that hang around here, knocking suet out of the feeder and then sitting in the snow underneath the feeder eating it. They are so colorful. Love their speckles!
Thanks Robbie for cluing me in that this woodpecker is a Northern Flicker. I am clueless about birds…and only knew it was a woodpecker because of its noisy pecking! Guess I need to check my bird book more often! My readers are pretty dang smart!
