But not necessarily in that order. We’ll save the best for last, OK?
We’ve had a bit too much of Old Man Winter weather this last week…altho I happily see some warmth headed our way!
I took these pics yesterday…so I can justify my crankiness…hehe.
It’s not so much the rain…
as it is the cool temps that keep the garden in limbo.
The broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, garlic and onions are happy tho. We’ve been eating salads daily {no slugs this year}!
Otherwise it’s a somber scene.
I did harvest garlic scapes…more on that in the next post.
Since the garden was mostly at a standstill, Mr. Denim and I took off on Father’s Day to check out Ross Creek Cedar Grove in Montana.
These gorgeous trees are HUGE!
And last but not least, here’s a happy ending…
these three pics are my last of the robins in their nest…taken a week ago {notice the sun?}
They looked a bit scrunched in that tiny nest.
Hi there! Got food?
The next day I found their nest empty!…I shoulda known.
But that very afternoon I spotted one of ‘em sitting on the top of our car! Wahoo!
Welcome to the world cutie! It was fun watching you grow.
